A school district in the New Orleans, Louisiana area is seeking a passionate and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite-only opportunity working with a diverse student population in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Position Overview

Location: Onsite near New Orleans, LA
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday
Contract Term: 20252026 school year
Student Population: K12 (varied caseloads available)

Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
Provide direct therapy and consultative services
Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student outcomes
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations

Candidate Requirements

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
Strong knowledge of IDEA and best practices for school-based therapy
Must be available for onsite work only remote or hybrid options are not available
